Established in 2015, Magi Design Studio is an award-winning architectural design studio with office based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Founded by partners Margaret Jo and Yogi Ferdinand, the studio works on a broad range of scales and typologies – from master planning, architectural, interior, graphic, and product design. Each work is distinctively explored through a thoughtful approach to problem solving. Rather than designed by style, the projects are conceived to convey their spatial and sensory characteristics in response to their specific contexts.

Magi Design Studio believe that good design should be reflected in economic, social, and cultural well-being of its environment and city. Clients, users, and interdisciplinary design are consistently collaborated with to invent both design-wise and market-driven solution in addition to foster a creative contemporary living and a more sustainable future.

Magi Design Studio have been honoured by multiple international awards, including the American Architecture Prize 2017 in New York, World Architecture Festival 2017 in Berlin, with achievements in European Healthcare Design Award 2018 in London and World Architecture Festival 2018 in Amsterdam. Both partners have been appointed as judges of World Architecture Festival; Margaret in 2018 and Yogi in 2019.
